Ramadhan..Marhaban Ya Ramadhan.
The word is very familiar for us as moslems, even when we were child, we’d
already known it. We always welcome it with joys. We all know Ramdhan is a
fasting month, but do we really know about it ? It’s a big question for all of
us, because not all of us had understood what Ramadhan is and what the core of
Ramadhan is.
The word Ramadhan means: burn,
very hot. The named Ramadhan – the 9th month of Hijriyah calendar, it describes
the condition of the weather in that month, dry and hot.
When Ramadhan comes, we show the
moslems trying do the rights. We should be proud showing their spirits of
worship when Ramadhan comes. However, we also feel sad because the phenomena of
the public. They seem to worship Ramadhan not to worship The God of Ramadhan,
Allah SWT. Why do we say that? Infact, besides in Ramadhan, we still find that
some of us do not do like we do in Ramdahan.
When we analyze the meaning of
the word “ Ramadahan “ we feel more convinced that the coming of Ramadhan
brings a lot of blessings from Allah SWT. That was said by our Prophet Muhammad
SAW, : it comes a full of blessings month, in this month we are obligated to
have fasting and it’s opened the gate of paradise and it’s closed the gate of
the hell, the devils are shackled in Ramadhan and there is also a night which
is better than a thousands month, and fo those who can’t get the goodness of Ramadhan, the paradise is
forbidden for them. Story from Ahmad , an Nasa’i and Baihaqi.
Ramadhan gives meaning that
Allah’s blessings and Allah’s mercy will bring us to enter the paradise and
avoid from the fire of the hell. It’s only be got by follow Allah’s guidances. Allah
decreeds in al Qur’an, An nur verse 40. It’s said : For those who aren’t given
glow by Allah, he / she hasn’t got even a small glow. And the glow is al Qur’an
, which is Allah declided to Prophet Muhammad , SAW in Ramadhan, a month where
there are lots of glow. If we want to have the glow of Ramadhan, we should fill
our fasting in Ramadhan with loving al Qur’an, the biggest miracle for us as
moslems until the end of the world. Hopefully by this love, we can get glow and
plus in Ramadhan. Our Prophet Muhammad SAW promised : for those who fast in
Ramadhan with full of Iman and Ihtisaban ( it’s for Allah and hope mercy from
Allah only) their last sins will be forgiven by Allah SWT, al hadists Bukhori ,
Muslim, Tirmizie and Nasa’i
Ramadhan which is full of Allah’s
blessings is not “ a free gift “. It’s just exaclty an owe that we owe with a
very expensive guarantee, we lost our age for one year. So , which one will we
choose ? Passing Ramadhan without nothing and loosing our one year age without
nothing, or doing as our Prophet Muhammad SAW said , so we get the glow of Ramadhan.
